Explorer Express for 3/16/20

Good Evening WES Families & Students,

I hope that everyone had a safe and healthy day with your families.  Today we are sharing a WES Extended Break Optional Activities Document with you as a link in this email, and on our website.  This live document contains lists of activities for students to do during this extended time off.  We know that your first priority is and should be keeping your family safe and healthy, but as a parent myself, I want to provide you with resources and activities for students while we are off school.  The Weatherstone Staff will be updating this document with new ideas, so I encourage you to check on it occasionally.

We also anticipate WCPSS will be sharing resources with families in the next week or so.  We will be sure to pass that along as well.  Please note that WCPSS has stated that all activities sent by schools or teachers is OPTIONAL and will not be counted for grades.

There are links to outside resources and materials in this document and encourage parents to preview any material that they share with their students.  We noted recommended grades on some of the links and ask that just as we do in school, an adult is monitoring student Internet use at all times.

Mr. Chadwick

Principal
