WCPSS STEM Career Expo
The first annual WCPSS STEM Consortium Elementary STEM Career Expo is going to be an engaging and interactive event that will inspire young minds, foster curiosity, and introduce elementary students to the fascinating world of STEM careers.
This year, it will be held in October/November at STEM Consortium schools. This expo aims to provide students at each of these schools with a unique opportunity to explore diverse STEM fields, interact with professionals, and envision their own future paths in STEM!
For this experience, we are inviting representatives from your organization to visit school(s) to engage students in:
-a brief, hands-on, fun activity (Students will be rotating in 10-minute increments.)
-a visual display that shows the work you do
-a highlight of your representatives’ personal stories about what sparked their interest in this STEM field.
Students from each grade (K-5) level will visit your display and engage in your activity throughout the day. The day lasts from 9:00-4:00. Please feel free to have multiple representatives to join throughout the day as needed. Lunch will be provided.
