SSA allows students to show mastery of content in select elementary or middle school courses. Students who prove mastery do not have to take the course and may move on to the next level.
Parents may request that their child take the test to determine if they show sufficient mastery to skip a grade level of content in either English Language Arts or mathematics.

This year's SSA Test Request form is three pages long. The first two pages contain information for parents. Only the last page needs to be completed and returned during the test request window.
The Single Subject Acceleration nomination form is due to your child’s school before final dismissal time on the last day of the nomination window.

SSA test request forms may be turned in to your child's teacher during your track's test request window. SSA test reqeust forms for your track will be accepted until the end of the school day on the last day of the nomination window.
