Next week will be a very short week! We will have school on Monday and Tuesday only. I hope you all are able to spend time with those you love and enjoy time off. I am extremely thankful for our students, staff, and Dillard Drive Magnet Elementary families! ~Dr. Sykes

Literacy Night

Thank you all who were able to join us for literacy night! We had a great time reading with your families and sharing resources that support literacy at home.

Book Fair

Our book fair was a huge success this year and it could not have been without the help and support of parent/family volunteers! Thank you all for lending your time and expertise to facilitate this opportunity for our students and staff!

1st Quarter SOAR Celebration

Students have worked hard in the first quarter to follow SOAR expectations and have demonstrated SOAR behaviors throughout the school. Tuesday, 11/22 will be our SOAR celebration to recognize our students who SOAR every day. Students who received a 3 in Conduct will participate in the celebration during their entire Quest time. Students who received a 2 will participate in a review of SOAR expectations for the first 20 minutes with our counselors and teachers and then will be allowed to join the celebration for the remaining 25 minutes. Students who received a 1 in conduct  will participate in a review of SOAR expectations and will not participate in the SOAR celebration this time, and will make a goal for the 2nd quarter.
