March 19, 2021 Friday Message

Dear Families,

Please see the important info below:

Library Books

If your child has library books from our school previous school years, please return them now! Starting on Monday, 3/22 the library will be reopened for students! We are so excited to have students back safely in our space. This is the perfect time to double check your house for lost library books. Please reach out to Mrs. Clark (aclark@wcpss.net)  our school librarian for any questions or concerns.

Chromebooks

If your child is a Face to Face student, please make sure they are bringing their WCPSS issued Chromebook to school every day. They can keep the Chromebook at school and take it home prior to remote learning days. Chromebooks are needed daily to do Dreambox, iStation, Media/Tech. Class, and other classroom activities.

Guidelines for when your child is sick and is unable to come to school Please see the guidelines below if your child is sick. Please feel free to reach out to agrifin@wcpss.net (Mrs. Griffin, Assistant Principal) or shenderson5@wcpss.net (Shelley Henderson-receptionist) with any questions about these guidelines.

Household members must also stay home.

Any WCPSS student or employee living in the same house with a person experiencing any symptom of illness must quarantine for 14 days. The household member’s 14-day quarantine begins at the end of the tenth day of isolation of the person experiencing a symptom of illness. This means the household member must be out of school/work for 24 days. The household member may return sooner than 24 days if the person experiencing a symptom of illness receives confirmation of an alternate diagnosis or a negative PCR/Molecular* test.

Please see charts below for requirements in order to return to school/work. This information is available for printing and distribution at wcpss.net/WhenToReturn.
