I’m sure you’re aware that the school board voted last evening to continue having all K-12 students learning remotely through mid-February. They did not determine a specific return date and will reevaluate the first few weeks in Feb and then determine which grades, if any, would return to on-site learning.
Most of our students will continue being taught by the same teacher(s) that they have been working with for the first semester. However, there are a few circumstances that require us to move forward with changes. Please see the info below. Remember, these changes are only for students who are switching to Virtual Academy or switching to on-campus instruction when we re-open.
Kindergarten- Students will begin with their new teacher on Jan. 20th due to a new Kindergarten teacher joining our team to reduce class sizes.
1st Grade- Students have met their new teachers and will continue in their new classes on Jan. 20th.
2nd Grade- Students will begin with their new teachers on Jan. 20th.
3rd Grade- Students will remain with their current teachers until we return to on-campus learning due to class sizes.
4th Grade- Students will switch to their new teachers on Jan. 20th.
5th Grade- Students will remain with their current teachers until we return to on-campus learning.
