Important: Students who ride contracted transportation must be dropped off in the care of a responsible adult

You are receiving this message because your student is assigned to Contracted Vendor Transportation Services. 

The new contract for vendor transportation states that students shall be left in the care of a responsible adult at home or school. 

If an adult is unavailable at home, the driver shall immediately attempt to contact the parents/guardians to determine if they or a responsible adult are home to receive the student. 

If the driver can’t reach the parent/guardian, or another responsible adult is unavailable, the driver shall contact the designated school administrator to arrange for the student to be returned to school.  

Under no circumstances will the driver leave any student at any drop-off site before the driver has confirmed that the student is being turned over to the custody of a responsible adult. 

Usted está recibiendo este mensaje porque su estudiante está asignado para recibir servicios de transporte escolar por medio de un proveedor externo de transporte. 

El nuevo contrato para proveedores externos de transporte establece que los estudiantes deben entregarse al cuidado de un adulto responsable en casa o en la escuela. 

Si no hay un adulto disponible en casa, el conductor intentará comunicarse inmediatamente con los padres o tutores legales para determinar si ellos o un adulto responsable están en casa para recibir al estudiante. 

Si el conductor no puede comunicarse con el padre o tutor legal, o si no se encuentra disponible otro adulto responsable, el conductor deberá comunicarse con el administrador escolar designado para coordinar el regreso del estudiante a la escuela.  

Bajo ninguna circunstancia el conductor dejará a ningún estudiante en ningún sitio designado de entrega (drop-off site) antes de confirmar que el estudiante está siendo entregado a la custodia de un adulto responsable.
