Breakout session information available for 2026 Family and Community Engagement Summit

Join us for the Family and Community Engagement Summit featuring the State of the Schools Address! This year's two-day event will be held on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hear engaging speakers, connect with community resources, and build relationships to support student success. This event is open to all families, students, staff and community partners. Pre-registration is now closed, however you may still register in-person at the event. We look forward to seeing you there!

We're excited to provide lunch to all participants on both days of the Summit thanks to our generous sponsors. Families will also have the opportunity to take home free resources to support their students' learning.

Superintendent Dr. Robert P. Taylor will deliver his State of the Schools address Friday afternoon from 3 to 4 p.m.  Guests will hear from keynote speaker, Dr. Tommie Mabry, and will have opportunities to attend breakout sessions of their choosing throughout both days of the Summit.
