The WakeID Portal allows students and staff to access several WCPSS tools and applications, including Google, Canvas, and Microsoft 365. Refer to the WakeID Portal: Quick Start page for additional support.
How do students access the WakeID portal?
Students must log in to the WakeID Portal to set their password. K-2 students can use a QR code (printed by their teacher) by clicking Scan QR Code (K-2 only). The traditional login method (entering WakeID username and password) is still available. Work with your student's teacher to log in to the WakeID portal for the first time.

What is the WakeID Portal and what are WakeIDs?
- The WakeID Portal allows students and staff to access several WCPSS tools and applications including Google, Canvas, and Microsoft 365.
- WakeID is a username that WCPSS employees and students use to access applications and electronic resources through the WakeID Portal at https://wakeid.wcpss.net.
- The WakeID is not connected with your Network login.
How will I know what my student's WakeID is?
Existing students with active email accounts will use their student ID or the first part of their email address as their WakeID (jsmith).
