Single Subject Acceleration (SSA)
Single Subject Acceleration
Students meeting qualifying criteria in grades K‐7 can take advanced academic content in mathematics or English Language Arts through Single Subject Acceleration (SSA). This ensures opportunities for appropriate levels of academic challenge. Only students who are currently enrolled and attending a WCPSS school during the open nomination and testing window are eligible to be considered for SSA.

2020-2021 School Year: Because schools closed early due to Covid last school year, families still have the option to request SSA testing for their children. Requests can be submitted through August 28, 2020. If you would like a test request form or more information about the SSA program, please contact our AIG teacher Jill Molloy at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information about the timing of SSA testing will be coming soon.
