Week of 4/18
- As it gets warmer, please make sure you are dressing in accordance with the WCPSS and RHS dress code. As a reminder, students may not wear sunglasses in the building.
- Are you an RHS student going to Prom this year? If so, don't forget to submit your completed RHS Prom Ticket Pick Up Form with a Stamp to room 2008 by Friday.
- The RHS Spring Musical "Chicago" is this Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 5pm. QR Codes are on the musical posters around the school and on the school website if you wish to purchase ahead of time. Tickets are $8 for staff and students if purchased ahead of time.
Spring Break: 4/11-4/15
Week 4/4
- VOLT Competition is today(4/6). Best time to check us out is between 9-12 in the main parking lot. Wish us luck as we compete against 5 other schools from Harnett and Lee County.
Week of 3/29
- The international festival is holding a donation drive to help the people affected by the war in Ukraine. Please bring nonperishable food goods, bandages, first aid kits, warm clothings/blankets and batteries to the drop off point in front of the media center.
- beYOUtiful Inc. will continue to be on campus for the remainder of the week for Juniors and Seniors to say YES to the Prom Dress. Please scan a QR code on any flier you may see throughout the building to schedule your appointment time. Remember all inquiries are confidential.
- Prom Court Application is due this Thursday to Coach Mohar in room 2008. No late applications will be accepted.
- Attention upperclassmen. This is a reminder that all NON-RHS prom guests must have a guest form turned in by Friday to Coach Mohar in room 2008 for approval.
- If you have submitted a Prom Guest Form to Coach Mohar in room 2008, please check your student email for approval or denial of your guest.
- Men's Soccer Workouts Start May 24th. If you plan to attend/tryout for Men's Soccer you need to see Coach Croal ASAP office 4703.
- Congratulations to the RHS stunt team for a double win last night against both Millbrook and Wake Forest making RHS undefeated in the conference. This is the first win against Millbrook in RHS stunt history. Way to go RAMS!
Week of 3/21
- The PreACT for all 10th graders will be on Tuesday, April 5th. No need to register, all 10th graders are required to test. More details to come.
- Congratulations to the RHS Chamber Choir for receiving a Superior rating at Small Ensemble MPA on Friday!
- For this week only beYOUtiful Inc. will be on site during certain times giving away free prom dresses to Rolesville High School Juniors and Seniors who are in need. Flyers have been placed throughout the building so please scan the QR code to schedule your special time to view and Say YES to the dress! All inquiries are confidential.
- Coach Clayton is in need of stat manager at stunt matches. If you are interested please see Mrs. Clayton for details.
Week 3/14
- NHS Tutoring is canceled for 3/17
- Listen up Royalty...Prom Court Applications are due March 31st to Coach Mo in room 2008. Prom Court Application can be found on the Prom Website.
- Congratulations to our Rolesville High School Symphonic Orchestra on participating in the state Music Performance Adjudication event and receiving a SUPERIOR RATING!!! A superior rating is the top most possible score and is a very high honor. Please congratulate our Symphonic Rams!!!
Week of 3/7
- The Volleybros Tournament is this Thursday starting at 5pm! You can purchase a ticket by scanning the QR code on flyers around the school.
- Happy International Women’s Day(March 8th)
- Big shout out to the women's soccer team for beating Enloe for the first time in school history last night! The Game winning goal was scored with 1 second left on the clock by senior Hannah Arellano
- Congrats to the Girls Varsity Softball Team on its 6-1 win last night over East Wake. Emily Curphey homered and Iyanna Lassiter was our Ram-VP!
- The last day to audition for dance levels 2-4 is today (Friday March 11th) from 2:30-4pm. Anyone wishing to place in a higher level or remain in their current level needs to audition.
Week of 2/22
- Congratulations to sophomore Frank Bianco! He placed 5th at the 132 lb. weight class in the NCHSAA Wrestling Tournament.
- Rams! Our last day for Wake UP and Read Book Drive donations is Monday, February 28th. We have not yet met our goal of 412 books collected, so if you can donate, please do. Donation bins are in front of the media center, and on all 4 floors on top of the library book drops. Let's help spread the love of literacy with those in need.
Week of 1/19-1/21
- The pre-season meeting for Varsity and JV Softball will be this Thursday, January 20th at 2:30 in room 4907. This is a mandatory meeting if you want to try out. Please see Coach Carr to set up another time if you cannot attend.
- Students remember during lunch we only use the 800 bathrooms. The 500 bathrooms are closed during lunch!
- Today is the last day for students to make schedule change requests for 2nd semester. Please use the form on the RHS website to submit your request.
- Teachers, as a reminder, we will have advisory every day this week!
- Students, if you are awaiting your Covid test results, please stay home until you receive them. Please do not come on campus. If you have questions, please email Ms. Chambliss.
Week of 11/15-11/19
- Reminder any woman interested in playing women's soccer this spring there is a mandatory meeting Wednesday after school in room 4705. It will last 30 minutes. If you cannot make it, see coach Croal Thursday or Friday.
Week of 11/7-11/10
- The National Achievers Society is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive. Donation bins will be located outside the front offices. The items that are needed are non-perishable food and essential items. Flyers are posted around the school with more information on it. Remember every donation counts so lets help make a difference!
- The National Achievers Society Induction Ceremony will be held tonight at 6pm. (virtually)
- Come out tonight at 6:30 pm for the RHS Orchestra and Guitar concert, here in the RHS auditorium! Orchestra and guitar students are ready to perform for a full audience, and tickets are free! Masks are required; see you tonight!
- Anybody interested in playing women's soccer this spring should attend the mandatory interest meeting Nov 17. It will be at 2:30 in room 4706! If you cannot attend please see coach Croal in 4703 prior to the meeting
Week of 11/1-11/5
Quarter 2 Reminders from Administration
Boys and Girls Bathrooms in the 500 halls are open. When going to the bathroom, you need to stay on the floor your class is on. Teachers, please remember to send only 1 student at a time out of your class to use the bathroom. Please also remember to collect the passes when the student returns.
Here are just some reminders, as we begin Quarter 2:
• Students should always have a pass with them if they are out in the halls
• During lunch, you will not be allowed to visit multiple floors. Once the ropes are up, you may not go back and forth.
• If you are excessively tardy in your classes, you could face disciplinary actions.
• Drinks and chips are sold at the serving lines as well, so there is no need to go to the 1st floor for the vending machines.
• Masks inside are still a requirement, your mask must fully cover the nose, mouth, and chin.
• Students are only allowed to leave out of one door in the cafeteria to get water/go to the bathroom in the morning and at lunch. You must exit from the 400 pod doors.
Wrestling
Wrestling season starts today; make sure Dragonfly and hydration testing is completed. Meet in the wrestling room; practice starts at 3:00 pm. Any questions? See Coach Smet or Coach Davis.
Track and Field
The Cross Country team would like to Congratulate Corey Little, who qualified for Regionals on Saturday. Corey broke the school record by 9 seconds and became the first XC Ram to go to states twice.
Attention Athletes: The 2nd & 3rd Day of Track tryouts are today & Thursday. If you got cut from another sport and would like to try-out for track, see Coach G in 4705.
Marching Band
Congrats to the Marching Rams on finishing their season with their personal best performance of the year! We earned 3rd place overall including a 2nd place drum major recognition at the Cary Band Day competition. Please congratulate the members of the Marching Rams on a spectacular and highly awarded competitive season!

HBCU Advisory Scholarship Information
The National Achievers Society compiled a list of scholarships for students interested in attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

RHS Women’s Lacrosse
MOD Pizza Mondays are here! Come, eat, and support women's lacrosse every Monday in September at MOD Pizza on Rogers Road.

RHS Chapter of the Red Cross Club
There will be a Red Cross Club interest meeting on September 15 from 2:30-3:30 in room 2704. Please see Mrs. Giuffre for more information.
PSAT-October 13th
The PSAT will be on October 13th and is offered to any 9th – 12th grade student that would like the opportunity to test. However, in order to register for the test you must go online to the Rolesville High School homepage http://www.wcpss.net/rolesvillehs. Go to the PARENT tab at the top of the page.
Week of 8/23-9/3
Announcement from Administration
When students arrive in the morning, they are to report to the cafeteria or the first-floor hallway between the office and the cafeteria. Students who must drop off instruments or sports equipment may do so quickly and then report to the cafeteria. There should be no students waiting for class in the area between the office and the auxiliary gym.
Juniors and Seniors - Beginning tomorrow (8/25) any student parking on campus without a RHS Car tag will be ticketed. Mrs. Allred will be in the first floor commons today to issue parking passes and off campus passes.
National Achievers Society (NAS)
There will be a NAS interest meeting on Monday, August 30th at 5:30. The code is "nasmtg"
Ram Rampetory(Theatre)
Theatre Interest Meeting Friday 8/27 2:30-3:30 in Auditorium. Come if you are interested in being involved on or off stage this year. Thespians be prepared to stay late.
JV and Varsity Softball
There will be a Varsity and JV Softball interest meeting on Thursday, August 26th, after school in Room 4907. Please make sure you have a ride home and see Coach Carr if you can't attend.
Men’s Lacrosse
There will be a Men's Lacrosse interest meeting on Thursday August 26th. The meeting will take place in the auditorium at 2:40.
Late Bus Fall 2021
Late activity bus routes will not run until further notice. Students need to secure a ride for pick-up following afterschool activities.
