The Broughton Pantry supports our students who need food, clothing & hygiene products. Students in need are identified by teachers and guidance counselors. Last year we worked to open our new pantry space where identified students can make their own selection choices. This outreach program is supported primarily through donations from students, staff and the Broughton community.
Community members may drop off donations for the BHS food pantry at the main office M-F, 7am-3pm, 723 St. Mary's St, Raleigh 27605. The Amazon Wish List (Pantry Wish List) is a convenient way to donate as all items will be sent directly to Broughton's main office.
We will be collecting for our current pantry needs this coming Wednesday, Sept.5 and Thursday, Sept.6 before school in front of the small gym. Items may also be dropped in the front office any time next week (September 4-7, 2018). Students may receive community service hours for donations; one hour of community service credit for every $5 spent, with a limit of 5 hours for donations in a school year.
Please see the link below to sign up to provide needed items.
Thanks for supporting our students!
