Longview School is piloting Project Based Learning in the middle and high school curriculum.  Project Based Learning gives students more opportunities to become active participants in the material presented, engage with technology and improve upon their 21^stcentury skills, create a product that illustrates their answer to a question and an opportunity to present their learning to other people.  Project Based Learning thrives on learner agency and finding what interests our students to support their academic growth in the classroom.  By focusing on the interests of the students, we have seen an improvement in the classroom cultures that foster positive learning environments.
