Before & After School Care is available at Rolesville Elementary School. It is run by RES staff members & students participate in a variety of activities.

Runs Monday – Friday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The fee schedule for this program can be found here
In after school care, a snack is provided & students are given time to work on homework with assistance from staff members.
Parents need to fill out the enrollment forms above AND the WCPSS Before/After Childcare Discipline and Behavior Management Policy for each child. There is a $15.00 registration fee per child. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school at 919-554-8686.
Inclement weather information for WCPSS-provided Before/After School Care
After School
Please complete this form to ensure clear communication if the school closes early for inclement weather
- If we cancel school due to inclement weather, the After School Program will not operate. The program will operate on the make-up day(s) designated by the Board of Education.
- If school closes early due to inclement weather, the After School program will not operate. Parents are to pick up their children as soon as possible. If the Superintendent cancels all after school activities, the After School Program will not operate. Parents are to pick up their children at the close of school.
Before School
- The Before School program will be delayed by the same amount of time that the opening of school is delayed. If school is delayed one hour, the Before School Program will open an hour late as well.
- If we cancels school due to inclement weather, the Before and After School Programs will not operate. The programs will operate on the make-up day(s) designated by the Board of Education
