Only 63 works were selected for the exhibition out of 980 submissions from around the country, so this is a huge honor for Cleo and Cary High! The exhibition was juried by representatives from eight member schools of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD): Laguna College of Art + Design; Parsons School of Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago; Minneapolis College of Art And Design; Maryland Institute College of Art; Lesley University; Emily Carr University of Art and Design; and Tufts University.
Her work will be on display from January 28 - April 12, 2019 at the National Art Education Association Studio and Gallery in Alexandria, VA. A picture of the piece, which was completed for Ms. Silver's Art IV Honors class, is included below for your enjoyment!
