Mrs. Washington is a National Board Certified teacher has been at Sanford Creek Elementary School for 10 years.  She earned her Masters in Library Science from East Carolina University.  She is a proud mother of 5  adults and is married to Mr. Michael Washington.  Mrs. Washington's motto for her media center is "Welcome to the Media Center, a place for those who thought they hated to read, and a haven for those who love it."  Before coming to Sanford Creek She worked at Dillard Drive Middle School for 6 years.
