My name is Pamela Rose and I am looking forward to teaching third grade again this year at Leesville Road Elementary. Prior to taking this position, I was a second grade teacher here at Leesville for the past few years, before that I was a first grade intervention teacher also here at LES. Prior to coming to Leesville Elementary I was a first grade classroom teacher for 11 years in the Durham Public School System. I earned my undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and my graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My graduate studies focused on K-6 mathematics. I also earned my National Board Certification in November of 2010.
In my spare time, I like to run or bike and can often be found either outside or at the gym. I like to cook, read and do projects around my house. I am very excited about being part of the Leesville community. It is a wonderful, nurturing place to work! I am very glad to be here!
