Hello Flyers!  My name is Phyllis Kramer. I am excited to be one the intervention teachers at Pleasant Grove Elementary this school year.  This will be my 31^st year as a teacher!!! I taught First Grade for 28 years and served as a K-5 Math Interventionist for the last 2 years.  As a classroom teacher and an interventionist, I love being able to meet the students where they are and help them build upon their skills.  I also enjoy being able to build their confidence and perseverance as they start to see themselves as learners, even if it is hard at first.  I was born in North Carolina and have lived here all my life except for the year and a half I live in Charleston, SC.  I am married to my wonderful husband Troy and we have a 12 ½ year old Australian Shepherd/Lab mix named Snickers.  We love to travel with her to the beach and the mountains.  I love to read, listen to live music, and take walks in the park.  I am very excited to start my first year at Pleasant Grove.
