Mr. Grondziowski

My name is Anthony Grondziowski, and I am excited about joining FVMS this school year as an assistant principal intern. I reside in Fuquay-Varina with my wife Caitlin, and two children, Andrew and Carolina.

My career began in 2014 when I graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education. Following graduation in 2014, I spent three years in Iredell-Statesville Schools as a Social Studies teacher, as well as an Instructional Technology Facilitator. In 2017, I moved to Wake County Public Schools where I taught high school Social Studies at Fuquay-Varina High School. I also had the amazing opportunity of opening two new high schools in Wake County, Green Level High School and Willow Spring High School. I have served on school leadership, school improvement, and digital portfolio committees and as social studies department chair. I have also served as a curriculum writer for Wake County Public Schools since 2019.

Most recently, I began my journey in school administration after being accepted into the Principal Preparation Program Fellowship at NC State University with a graduation date of May 2024. Through this journey, I have served as a half-time Assistant Principal Intern at Willow Spring High School and will complete a full-time yearlong internship at Fuquay-Varina Middle School. I am excited to learn and grow at FVMS!
