Leesville is the best of the best! I love to teach here. The children and their families bring me so much joy.  This is my ninth year working at Leesville Elementary and my twelfth year teaching in an elementary school. I began my teaching journey in Durham, NC where I taught in a learning center for six years. I've taught grades K-5 and I've served as a troupe leader in a Girl Scouts outreach program. 

I'm a native of North Carolina; I absolutely love this state and will never leave. I attended UNC Wilmington as a Biology major. I received a degree in Elementary Education, K-6, at North Carolina Central University...GO EAGLES! In addition, I have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.

On a personal note, I am married and have two lovely daughters in college. A few things I enjoy doing are watching movies, cooking, biking, and reading.
