I am one of the Math Intervention teachers at FVMS. I joined the FVMS team in February of 2022. I graduated from Fayetteville State University with my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math Education. I am licensed to teach grades 6 - 12 in mathematics, which I have taught many of those grades for the last 17 years. I also graduated from UNC Pembroke with my Masters in School Administration. In addition, I graduated from Liberty University with an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I truly believe that education changes lives. Therefore, I continue to be a lifelong learner and enjoy helping others become one as well.  

I am a mother of 3 children (1 boy, 2 girls) aged 9 - 14. As a family, we enjoy traveling, game nights, and watching and playing many sports together.  

I truly believe all students can be successful in math. I not only teach my students math, but I help build their confidence in math as well. I enjoy teaching them strategies that are fun and engaging that will help them grow and become successful, not only in their current grade, but throughout their education. I am so excited to be in the math intervention role at Fuquay-Varina Middle School!
