HELLO from Ms. Ferrell, born and raised right here in Raleigh. From UNC Chapel Hill, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and Arts Education k-12. Prior to MECME, I've taught art in preschools, senior centers, and at A B Combs Leadership Magnet Elementary. Art has been in my life forever, from sewing doll clothes as a little child to mixed media paintings now. I love spending time with all my family and my itty bitty yorkie!

Why I chose to teach at MECME...
