This is my 7th year teaching and my 2nd year at WFES! I work with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. I am from Maryland, but moved to North Carolina from Northern Virginia two years ago. In my free time I love to spend time with my husband and my one year old!

I am the K-5 special education self-contained teacher at Wake Forest Elementary. I have been teaching here since I started my teaching career in October 2014. I moved here from Buffalo, NY in August 2014. I have my Associate's in Applied Science from Genesee Community College (2009), my Bachelor of Science in Education in childhood and special education (2012) from SUNY Geneseo, and I am currently in graduate school to earn my Master of Arts in Education in emotional and behavioral disabilities from ECU. I will be graduating in May 2023.  When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy relaxing at home and spending time with my family.
