Hello! I am the Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) teacher at WFE.  I have been teaching for 15 years.  I have taught Kindergarten, 1^st grade, 2^nd grade, 4^th grade and was an Intervention Coach.  I love applying all I have learned in my experiences to working with K-5 as the AIG teacher!  We have so much fun working in teams, researching, designing and problem solving!

 

I grew up in Buffalo, NY.  After graduating with my BS and MS from St. Bonaventure University I decided to leave the snow behind and move to Raleigh.  I spend almost all my time outside work with my two young boys, ages 4 and 5.  When I have some time to myself I love hiking, cooking, and reading! 

 

I am looking forward to another great year at Wake Forest Elementary!
