About: I have been teaching music at Washington since 2019 and am excited for another great school year! I earned my Bachelors and Masters in Music Education from the University of Delaware and taught elementary music in Maryland for 5 years before relocating to Raleigh. I have been singing my whole life and love encouraging young musicians! I strive to create a classroom environment where all students feel welcome, inspired, and creative. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the amazing Washington community. Outside of school I love to stay active, travel, and read.
