My name is Sheila Henderson. I am from Henderson North Carolina, received a Bachelor's Degree from Saint Augustine’s College, and my Masters in Special Education from North Carolina Central University.  This will be my fourth year at Leesville Road Elementary School.  My years of experience as a special education teacher have helped me form a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond.  Teaching is my life’s passion. Personally, I have two sons and three granddaughters, four brothers and one sister. I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
