Mrs. Amy Byrd
This is Ms. Byrd's second year at Lake Myra. She has a total of six years of experience working at an Instructional Assistant in Pre-K-1st Grade. Ms. Byrd loves helping children learn and grow. She loves watching them come to school at the beginning of the year and seeing what they accomplish by the end of the school year. Ms. Byrd has three children, two whom attend Lake Myra Elementary. Her children keep her busy with soccer, dance and fishing. When Ms. Bryd is not at school, she loves going to the beach, spending time with her family and two labs (Sampson and Emma) and her poodle pup (Chloe). She also enjoys going to church, taking pictures, cooking and relaxing by the pool.

The best part of his job is be given the opportunity to help students who may not always excel in academics, feel a sense of growth, achievement, and leadership. When Mr. Solano is not at school, he enjoys playing board games, video games, reading books and comics, cooking, and hiking.
