The Wake STEM Early College High School GSA club was founded by Mr. Ryan Haymore in order to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. In this day and age, society has strived to become more accepting of LGBTQ+ students and adults. The purpose of this club is to push even further to educate, accept, and advocate for the community.

We seek to:

• Help students find others like themselves for friendship and conversation.

• Offer support for LGBTQ+ students and their allies.

• Create safe space for communication especially for students questioning their gender identitiy/sexuality which can be a scary process.

• A safe space for anyone to talk and communicate, no matter who you are.

• Advocate for equity and educate others on LGBTQ+ issues and identities.
