Hello! My name is Shannon Russell and I have been working at Lincoln Heights since January 2019. This is my third year teaching 1st grade.  I grew up in a small town near Wilmington, North Carolina. I graduated from Campbell University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science (History Concentration). After working preschool for several years, I went back to school and graduated from UNC-Wilmington in 2016 with a Master of Arts degree in Teaching (Elementary Education). I live in Cary with my husband Harrison and our dog, Charlie. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies, traveling to new places, watching baseball and college basketball (GO TARHEELS!), and cooking.
