My name is Amy Stone, and I am Laurel Park Elementary's AIG, SSA, & Enrichment Specialist. This is my ninth year teaching at Laurel Park Elementary and my tenth year teaching in Wake County. I graduated from East Carolina University with my Master of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I hold four teaching licenses, Elementary Education K-6, Academically Intellectually Gifted (AIG) K-8, Curriculum & Instruction Specialist (K-12), and Reading Education K-12. In December 2019, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. My NBCT specialization is in Literacy for Early and Middle Childhood.

I am married and have four children, Alexandria, Cory, Hunter, and Preston. We have two dogs, Hershey and Reese. As a family, we love spending time at the beach during the holidays and track outs.
