Ms. Stokes - 4th Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Dawn Stokes and I am excited to be teaching 4th grade here at South Lakes. I grew up in New York and Connecticut, and moved to North Carolina in 2000. I have 5 beautiful children, 2 adorable grandchildren, and 3 kittens. Before teaching 4th grade, I taught 3rd grade for 8 years. One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to know each child and watching them grow.
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and baking, swimming, walking, yoga, trips to the beach, and reading.

Mr. Gordon - 4th Grade Teacher
I have lived in NC my whole life. I love living here because it has the mountains and the sea...so I get the best of both! I love spending days hiking in the mountains or going to the beach and relaxing with a good book. I love reading mysteries, political thrillers, & comics/graphic novels. I grew up in Pinnacle, NC. My house was at the base of Pilot Mountain State park so I grew up with an amazing view. My mom lives and runs our family farm in Pinnacle. I have 1 sister, 2 nephews and 1 neice. My husband, Jason and I have two dogs: Jules and Jae. Both keep us very busy. Jason and I love to travel and go on cruises. I have lived in Willow Springs for a year and it's becoming home. I'm excited about my 2nd year at South Lakes Elementary.

Ms. Williams - 4th Grade Teacher
Hello! I am Carolyn Williams and I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade at South Lakes! I grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State University. After teaching a few years in Michigan, I then moved to Florida where I taught second grade. My husband and I moved to North Carolina 5 years ago and this will be my third year teaching in Wake County and thirteenth year teaching overall. When I am not at school you will find me spending time with my husband and 3 year old son Lucas. I enjoy bike riding, sewing, reading, gardening and spending time outdoors.
