Hello! My name is Kim Carnell, and I love children and teaching! Laurel Park is a great place to be.  I am originally from South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) but have lived in 2 other states before landing in North Carolina. My husband, Joel and I have 4 children between us. They are all grown. Three are in NC and one is in New York. I love traveling, live music, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Many weekends, you will find me, at the coast, boating with my husband. We love any body of water! I consider myself optimistic, and I instill that in my students. Our classroom is a happy, fun place with lots of laughter.
