Kudos to all staff, students, and parents for an excellent first week of school. A big THANK YOU to Mr. Hill, 7th grade administrator/ administrator over transportation, for ensuring our students arrived and departed our campus safely and on the correct bus.

Kudos to our amazing office staff, Mrs. Cabrera, Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. McDaniels, Mrs. Strepay, Mrs. Pearce.  These hardworking Charger staff members are often behind the scenes making sure we are up and running.  They welcome our families, enroll our students, tour new students, order supplies and keep us in compliance, and ensures new and returning staff are warmly welcomed and has all the necessary items they need to welcome students into their classrooms. They also take care of the principal! They are AMAZING!

Kudos-Have you seen the improvements in our front office and quotes around our school?  This is the visionary creation of Mrs. Olmstead, 6th grade administrator. Thank you for enhancing the learning environment in our school.

Kudos-School safety is a top priority at AFMS. We completed our first fire drill last week. Staff and students will engage in a lockdown drill very soon. A big THANK YOU to Mr. Turley, 8th grade administrator/administrator over emergency operation plans for making sure staff and students (all 1132 of them) are informed and procedures are clear.
