Hey Flyers! My name is Miss Sheehan. This is my 9th year teaching and my 4th year at Pleasant Grove Elementary. I was born and raised in New York and moved to North Carolina in 2014. I graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland with a degree in Special Education grades 1-6. I also graduated with my Master’s Degree in 2019 from University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Literacy and Language K-12. In my spare time, I love reading and crocheting. At home, I have a cat named Meredith Grey. Teaching is my passion because I love building relationships with students and encouraging students to become lifelong readers.
