Hello Bryan Road Buccaneers! My name is Angela Davenport and I am so excited to be part of the crew! I have worked for WCPSS since 2017. I was previously an instructional assistant for AU-2 at Kingswood Elementary School in Cary. I am looking forward to the opportunity of being a CCR Instructional Assistant this year. My passion is working with students and helping them reach their full potential.

I was born and raised in Edenton, NC. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Therapy. I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations through the years. I moved to the Raleigh area in 2005. In 2018, I sold my townhouse in Cary and bought a house in Clayton. I am a huge animal lover and have three fur babies that I adore. I have two tabby kitties named Bella and Cody and a Shi-Poo (Shitzu/Toy Poodle) named Precious.

In my free-time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, family, friends, and fur babies. I also love to cook, bake, garden, and work on DIY home improvement projects.

I can’t wait to embark on this journey. I look forward to meeting and working with the students, staff, and families of Bryan Road Elementary this upcoming school year!  Let’s go BUCCANEERS…
