Our magnet theme is important because...
Studies show that spending time outdoors in nature provides overall improvement to mental and physical health. I am excited by the opportunities for my students to spend time outdoors and have access to such a green campus! It's also exciting to teach students the responsibility we all have as citizens of the Earth to take care of this planet!
Why I teach...
I teach because I want to impact tomorrow's adults. I teach to prepare my students to both navigate and thrive in society. It is a job of service that I take a lot of pride in. Ever since I could remember, I wanted to become an educator. I take my work seriously and know that the choices that I make in my classroom today will impact my students in the future.
