Mr. Evans, Principal

I'm originally from Canada where I earned a bachelor of arts in history from Trent University and a bachelor of education from Queen's University. I later earned a master's from Buffalo State College and an educational specialist degree in educational leadership from Florida International University. I started my career in Medellin, Colombia, teaching fourth grade at an international school. I later taught fifth and sixth grade in Los Angeles and Miami before moving to North Carolina where I taught eighth grade at Lufkin Road Middle School. I was the assistant principal at Cedar Fork Elementary for five years before helping open Scotts Ridge Elementary as the assistant principal. I started my newest adventure as principal of Salem Elementary in January 2017 and look forward to working with students, staff, and parents. I live in Cary with my wife Anita, my son Marco, two cats (Misty and Chloe), and a rabbit (Mozzie).
