Ms. Sarah Bratton

After growing up in North Carolina, I attended Duke University where I studied Psychology and Markets & Management. During my time as an undergraduate, I volunteered in several elementary schools and fell in love with the magic of learning. Upon graduation I enrolled at The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA where I received two Master’s degrees: one in Elementary Education and the other in Education Policy, Planning, and Leadership. I moved to Raleigh, and I started my teaching career with Wake County Public Schools. I taught first grade for five years, fourth grade for one year, and third grade for four years. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, being outdoors, traveling, and watching college basketball and football. I am excited to be at Forest Pines and support all the wonderful teaching and learning happening here!
