    School Counseling Program

Wake Forest Elementary School is one of 72 schools from 14 states to receive the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation in 2009. The RAMP designation, awarded to schools that align with the criteria set in the ASCA National Model, recognizes schools that are committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment.WFE met the criteria to ReRAMP in 2012.

Program Details Meet the School Counselor, Ms. Engerer!
My name is Mary Engerer and this is my 12th year as the school counselor at WFE. I work with students in grades K-5 and see students during classroom guidance lessons, small groups, and individual sessions. Students can arrange a meeting with me by filling out a 'request to see the counselor' form and giving it to their teacher or putting it in my mailbox. Parents and teachers are also able to refer a student to the counselor by contacting me via email or phone. I look forward to helping all WFE students succeed this year! I was named the 2011 WCPSS School Counselor of the Year and a semi-finalist for the 2012 American School Counselor Association National School Counselor of the Year program.
