Mrs. Letha Richardson
My name is Letha Richardson. I have sixteen years old twins (boy & girl) and a fourteen years old son. I have a range of experience in working with the special programs as from an Youth Camp Counselor (New York), Teen and Adult Counselor at both Dorothea Dix Hospital and Murdoch Center. I am a graduate of Shaw University with a Bachelor in Special Education (1998). I completed my student teaching at Lead Mine Elementary and started my journey with the Vance County Public School System as the lead teacher for Behavioral Emotional Disturbed students in 1998. In September of 2004, I decided to relocate back to Wake County where I worked as a AU TA in the Special Programs at Wildwood Forest Elementary for four years. I left Wake County Schools to pursue my education at North Carolina Central with a scholarship to complete a course called, "No Child Left Behind". I returned back to Wake County Schools briefly as a Substitute in 2011 here at Forest Pines Drive Elementary, where I'm currently working as a TA for the AU 1 special programs.
