AP Human Geography
Human Geography (APHuG) is a expansive examination of the Modern World
through different “lenses”: Economic Development, Gender,
Population/Migration, Culture, Language, Religion, Political,
Agricultural, Industrialization and Urbanization. Through connecting the
past with the present, students gain a deeper understanding of their
life and the forces that shape it, on a Global, National, Local and
course is available to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. This course is
specifically built to transition students from being an Honors Student
to becoming an AP Level Student. Specific attention will be paid to
improving a students reading, writing, studying, note taking test
taking, presentation making, conversing/discussing/collaborating, and
time management up to a college level.
purpose of AP Psychology is to introduce students to the systematic and
scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other
animals. Students will be exposed to the
psychological facts, principles, and phenomena with each of the major subfield
within psychology. Lectures, readings,
activities, demonstrations, and projects will be provided to meet this goal of
instructing scientific and empirical approaches.
