I have taught Special Education for 19 years.  I have taught in both Wake and Johnston Counties.   I was inspired to become a teacher by my parents who were both in education.   I have a BA degree from Fayetteville State University in Speech and Theater and a Masters Degree in Special Education from NCCU.   I currently teach CCR for 4th and 5th graders.  My goal as a teacher is to help create productive citizens who are life long learners.    I am a life long Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority member and love all things pink and green.   When I'm not teaching I enjoy photography, crafting, card making, and working out.
