• Cultivating Creativity in Clubs
As a magnet school, Wendell Creative Arts and Science Elementary has over 20 clubs to support our theme of arts integration and hands on science. All third, fourth, and fifth grade students participate in clubs every other week during the school day. Students choose a club for first semester and a new club for second semester, although a few clubs are year-round. Club examples are Amazing Artists, Astronomy, Chorus, Coding, Crazy 4 Math, Cultures Around the World, Eagles Wing Dance Company, French, Gardening Club, Harry Potter, Lego Mania, Mixed Media, Movie Making, Picture Perfect Painting, Soaring Paper Airplanes, Sports Camp, Tappin' Toes, Weight Lifting, and Yoga.
The advisor for clubs is Mrs. Kornegay.
Membership and participation in all student clubs and organizations is open to all students without regard to age, race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or other protected classifications.
