Mr. Michael Christ
Mr. Christ worked 52 years in the semiconductor and solar industry. He started as a production operator before obtaining a degree. He then progressed through several positions ultimately achieving senior management responsibility. These responsibilities included; market research, manufacturing operations, process engineering, process development, quality, technical marketing and President.
After retirement he worked as a consultant with responsibility for business development, process start up and process optimization for silicon materials companies serving the semiconductor and photovoltaic markets.
Mr. Christ served as Chairman of the Materials Division of the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) an international consensus standards organization. He also served as an officer on ASTM subcommittee F1 on Electronics.
Mr. Christ has a BS Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
In December 2012 Mr. Christ became a Wake County Substitute Teacher and in August 2014 he became a Wake County Teacher Assistant.
