Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Robiane Morgan
Greetings Walnut Creek Family! My name is Robiane Morgan. I have been in education for going on 12 years. I have served as a special education teacher for 11 years and just recently as of December 2013, accepted the position of Professional School Counselor here at Walnut Creek. I am excited about my new role in developing young minds for academic and personal success.
I am currently continuing my school counselor degree through Liberty University. It has been an exciting journey learning how I can better serve and advocate for all children. Prior to attending Liberty University, I am a 1996 graduate of Winston-Salem State University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and received my teaching credentials from North Carolina Central, Barton College and North Carolina State Universities. As you can tell, I love learning and being a student. My goal is to encourage and instill that same passion for higher learning in your children.
I am married to my college sweetheart Michael. We have been married for 11 years and have two children Kennedi (3) and Kelli (2) and a dog named Zoey. Life is busy for this momma of two toddlers, but I enjoy my profession and there is nothing that I would change about it. One of my favorite quotes is: ”Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela
