I was born in Savannah, GA, but was raised on the largest military base in the United States, Fort Bragg (outside of Fayetteville, NC). I attended Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC from 2002-2005 and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I also graduated in 2012 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA with a Master’s of Arts degree in Human Services with a cognate in Family and Marriage Counseling. I have been a licensed special education and elementary education teacher for 13 years.
I am married to a loving husband, Darin Rawls, and together we have 4 beautiful children: Ta’Janae, Kaydra, Darin "DJ", and Donovan. I love to read, shop, travel, party, and be pampered. I am very involved in Mission Trips and have a passion for helping the less fortunate. My motto is: If you believe, you can achieve!
