I’m proud to begin teaching my 8th year at Leesville Road Elementary School and my 14th year in my teaching career. I earned a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Oregon and I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education, from Pacific University. I taught ESL in grades K-5, for three years, fourth grade for five years and currently, this is my sixth-year teaching second grade. I love teaching elementary school and I find so much joy in watching my students grow throughout each year. I live in Raleigh with my husband and son. Together, we enjoy swimming, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. When I find myself with a little quiet time, I also love to read and create photo albums to remember all the wonderful moments we experience each day.
