Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) is designed to enhance academic and social behavior outcomes for all students using positive reinforcement. It is an evidence-based framework for developing positive behavior and is used in schools nationwide to create a positive climate for learning.
Lead Mine is also a P2 school, which means we promote and support The Positivity Project standards. This organization's sole purpose is to create citizens and leaders who will enhance our communities and country by internalizing the belief that “Other People Matter.”
Our "Pawsitive" Assemblies are a chance to celebrate the success and accomplishments of our students. At the end of each quarter, each teacher nominates students who exemplify the Positivity Project's 24 character traits. Our goal is to shine a light on our student's strengths in order to encourage them to be a positive force when they leave our halls.
