Ms. Warych

My name is Jolene Warych and I am the Instructional Facilitator, K-5 Literacy Coach, and Test Coordinator here at Lead Mine. I spent 11 years as a classroom teacher in Granville County, teaching grades 2, 3, and 5. I then served as a Curriculum Specialist and Instructional Coach for 6 years. This is my seventh year at Lead Mine and I am excited to be part of such a wonderful learning community. I have certification in four areas: Elementary Education, Academically Gifted, Reading, and Curriculum Instructional Specialist. I received my undergraduate degree from UNC-Greensboro and my graduate degree from ECU.

I am from Raleigh and I am a product of the Wake County Public School System. I attended Green, Conn, Ligon, and graduated from Enloe High School. My husband, Ken, is a fifth grade teacher here at Lead Mine. We met while teaching in Oxford, NC and have worked together at the same schools for 24 years. We enjoy spending our summers traveling.
