    4 - Student consistently demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the standards, concepts, and skills taught and can analyze, extend, and apply their thinking to other situations or problems – on their own.

    3 - Student consistently demonstrates an understanding of the standard, concepts, and skills taught. This includes their ability to explain their thinking and connect it to others'.

    2 - Student is approaching an understanding of the standards, concepts, and skill taught but still needs support.

    1 - Student does not yet demonstrate an understanding of the standards, concepts, and skills taught.
